We understand that such workplaces are subject to a wider range of risks and our expert trainers are ready to help you fully understand your roles and responsibilities as a designated first-aider in a higher-risk workplace.
Your course will be prepared according to your organisation’s individual risk assessment and will offer a highly practical, hands-on approach. Course content will take place over three days and will include how to handle injuries and emergencies, such as managing catastrophic bleeding or choking, looking after an unresponsive patient and administering CPR. You will also learn how to record accidents and incidents of ill health or medical emergencies, and how and when to notify the authorities of illnesses or disease outbreaks at work.
Our course covers the content specified by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE).
